Q: Where are you located?
A: Anne Bonny's rum cakes are baked and shipped from the Cayman Islands.

Q: Do your rum cakes contain real rum?
A: Yes. Our rum cakes are made with a family-secret blend of real rums (although many imitators use rum flavoring.)

Q: Are there preservatives in Anne Bonny's rum cakes?
A: Our special blend of Caribbean rums in each cake is the preservative.

Q: Are there artificial flavorings in Anne Bonny's rum cakes?
A: No artificial flavoring is used in Anne Bonny's rum cakes - just 100% fresh ingredients every time.
 
Q: Are there walnuts in Anne Bonny's Rhum Cakes?
A: Yes - the walnuts are ringed around the Golden Dream rum cake and are in the topping of the Chocolate Bliss rum cake.

Q: Are your rum cakes Kosher?
A: No, they are not Kosher.

Q: How many servings can you get from each Anne Bonny's Rhum Cake?
A: We suggest you get 12 slices from our rum cakes.
(You may like larger or smaller slices, but that is our serving suggestion.)

Q: How long will the cakes remain fresh?
A: Our cakes will last up to six months without refrigeration, sealed in its box. Each cake has a freshness date stamped on the back of 6 months from the day it was baked. Our gourmet rum cakes have the natural preservative, rum, in them. We vacuum seal them in a thick plastic wrap to prevent drying or ruin. They are then put inside our keepsake air-tight tins and shrink-wrapped again to prevent any air getting in. So when you open your cake it is fresh, moist, and as delicious as the day it was baked.
 
Q: Does my cake need refrigeration?
A: Refrigeration is not necessary, however it is recommended after the air-tight seal on your package has been broken. If you'd like to store an opened Anne Bonny's Rhum Cake for a prolonged period we recommend refrigerating in an air-tight container for best results. You can microwave for 10-20 seconds just to warm it before serving.

Q: Can your rum cakes be frozen?
A: We do not recommend freezing your cakes, as they do not defrost well, they become soggy and we can not guarantee the flavor. You can, however, refrigerate your cakes to serve chilled, and if you have opened the vacuum sealing you can refrigerate them in an air-tight container.
 
Q: Do you ship worldwide?
A: Yes - we ship our rum cakes around the world.

Q: Can I buy Anne Bonny's Rhum Cakes in stores?
A: Not yet - they are available for purchase only from our website and from our bakery in Grand Cayman.
 
Q: Can I place an order and have it shipped to someone else?
A: Yes, Anne Bonny's rum cakes make much-appreciated gifts!

Q: Can I include a gift card with my order?
A: Yes, you may include a gift card with your order at no extra cost.

A: We accept major credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express. Please note payments made by check must be cleared before the order is processed.

A: Absolutely not. We will not sell or distribute your name or any private customer information to any third party. Ever!

Q: Will you contact me if there is a problem with my payment?
A: If there's a question about your order, we will contact you by email or phone. Likewise, if you have a question or wish to make changes to your order, please email us or call toll free at 1-866-978-5108.

Q: Can I have the order delivered on a specific date?
A: Unfortunately, we can not guarantee a specific delivery date.

Q: Can I check on the status of my order?
A: You can always contact our customer service line Monday - Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM, and Saturdays from 8:30AM to 1:00PM EST. (We are closed on Sundays and holidays.)

A: Standard shipping is included in the price of Anne Bonny's rum cakes.

Q: Do I get a discount for ordering more than one cake?
A: Certainly. You get a 5% discount when you order 6 or more rum cakes.

Q: What do you do to prevent damage when shipping? How do you package the rum cakes?
A: All the Anne Bonny's Rhum Cakes are carefully vacuum sealed for freshness and gently placed into our specifically-designed tin box, and then placed inside a sturdy shipping carton. This prevents any breakage of the cake or denting of the box.

Q: What if I want to send a large number of cakes?
A: We offer wholesale prices on minimum quantities of twenty-four cakes shipped to the same addresss and ordered at the same time. If you need to order several cakes, but need to have them sent to separate locations (more than 5 locations), please either use the fax order form and fill out the locations or call us at 1-866-978-5108.
Special orders may be accommodated on a last minute basis however it is highly suggested that large orders be placed a minimum of 30 days in advance. Special orders will be charged at the time the order is placed and not at the time of shipping. Payment for all special orders placed for delivery within 30 days is non-refundable.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: We are confident you will enjoy our cakes as much as others have however, it’s not humanly possible to please everyone. We therefore regrettably, have to state at this time, we are unable to offer a MONEY BACK or REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE.

Q: Can I get a refund if I decide to cancel my order?
A: As orders are shipped in most cases within 24 hours or receipt of the order, a full refund can be made only within this timeframe however, outside this timeframe the answer is, regrettably, no.
